The Carbon Drive Commute product line CDC meets the high demands of all those people who want to use their bike as their primary means of transport. Commuting to work, to university, shopping, daily errands. The CDC system is particularly robust and durable for high-quality urban or trekking bikes. It is also suitable for all common e-bikes with mid-mounted motors up to 50 Nm torque. Gates CDC components offer top technology, optimized function and long service life at an attractive price.
CDC components are made of wear-resistant materials, but the economy of the production process also plays an important role in achieving an optimal price-performance ratio. A new, patented mud-port design of the sprockets ensures excellent self-cleaning of the drive in the CDC system when the wheel is driven in snow, mud and wet conditions.
