The secret of a really great bike is that it should just get out of the way and let you enjoy the ride. That's why, for the Stereo Hybrid ONE44 HPC SLX 800, we began with a 150mm Fox Float 36 Rhythm Grip fork and matching Float Performance shock. Combined with a Newmen Performance 30 wheelset and Schwalbe 2.6in tyres, it's the closest we can get to a magic carpet ride. Bosch's CX drive unit and an 800 Wh battery deliver up to 85 Nm of torque to the trail via Shimano's slick-shifting, legendarily reliable XT 1x12 gears. And strong, progressive Shimano XT 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 203mm rotors bring you safely to a stop, on demand. With a remote dropper post included in the mix, you simply need to add your spirit of adventure.

• FULLY INTEGRATED BATTERY - The Fully Integrated Battery system tucks the power of Bosch's battery out of sight, safely inside the confines of your bike's downtube. Hidden beneath a splash and dust-proof cover and secured with a lock to prevent theft, it allows us to design beautiful e-bike frames that are as brilliantly functional as they are good to look at.
• ADVANCED INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING - Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame – but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? We came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.
• MODULAR BATTERY SYSTEM - In many ways the battery is the heart of an e-bike. That's why, with our Modular Battery System, we've made a setup that's easy to use. You can charge the battery on or off the bike, and we've made room for even high capacity batteries. You'll wonder how you ever managed without it.
• ADJUSTABLE HEADSET ANGLE - When you're harnessing gravity, the trail is challenging and every second counts, the geometry of your CUBE is a critical component. That's why our adjustable headset allows you to tweak head angle, so you can set your bike up just the way you like it. A little slacker for more stability, or a little steeper for better agility. • BOOST148 - A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That's the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.
• AGILE RIDE GEOMETRY - Agile Trail Geometry is a development of our popular and well received Agile Ride Geometry, with a focus on riders who enjoy pushing their limits on the trails. By lowering standover height and allowing more room for the rider to move around over the bike, we've created a setup that rewards adventurous line choices. Because, after all, it's all about having fun.
• EFFICIENT TRAIL CONTROL - Our Efficient Trail Control series works in the background so that everyone can have more fun on the trail. A low leverage ratio and linear compression rate are the technical way of saying that these bikes are very sensitive to trail obstacles, whilst remaining insensitive to pedal-induced bob and giving a full range of travel.
• HIGH PERFORMANCE CARBON - HPC – high performance carbon – enables us to build lighter, stronger and stiffer frames out of this incredibly versatile material. Using a combination of careful frame design and variable lay-up thickness, we're able to fine-tune the performance of each frame to precisely meet our requirements for weight, stiffness, strength and durability.
• UNIVERSAL DERAILLEUR HANGER - One standard for all: gear hanger replacement made easy thanks to the innovative Universal Derailleur Hanger. With a design that includes some room for pivoting to help prevent chain jams, it improves shifting performance and works with all drivetrains. Best of all, it's a standard part that is available anywhere.
• ADVANCED TWIN MOLD - With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
• FLAT MOUNT KICKSTAND - Bicycles don't stand upright when they're not moving, which creates obvious problems when you need to park. What if there's nowhere convenient against which to lean your bike? The Flat Mount kickstand solves the problem, by providing a secure and easy-to-use option for parking your CUBE bike anywhere that has a flat surface.
