Cube Nulane Pro FE

The Nulane Pro FE's frame takes inspiration from our road, gravel and mountain bike series and adds a full accessory package into the mix. There's plenty of clearance for big, grippy and comfortable 45mm tyres, even with the included mudguards. We fitted an integrated seat clamp, then added our neat and sturdy Semi-Integrated Carrier 2.1, a lighting set and kickstand, and finished off with neat Internal Cable Routing. And the full carbon fork isn't just lightweight – it also helps reduce vibration from the road and features lowrider rack mounts. Wherever you're going, it's got everything that you need.

Got a meeting to get to across town or a route you want to explore at the weekend? The Nulane Pro FE is up for both. With an accessory package including mudguards, carrier and lights, it's equally adept at commuting, touring and anything in between. It's everything you need and nothing that you don't – perfect to slot right into your life.

More than just a bike, the Nulane Pro FE is almost a life companion. Featuring a comfortable carbon fork for reassuringly precise steering and powerful hydraulic disc brakes to ensure safe stopping in any weather, its 40mm Schwalbe tyres are both fast-rolling and grippy whether you're on city streets or country roads. Shimano's wide-ranging and easy-to-use Cues 1x9 gears will help you tackle any route. And we included a full complement of practical accessories – including luggage carrier, mudguards and lights – so that you're ready for any journey. For work, for play, for any reason at all... it's got your back.

Technologies

ALUMINIUM SUPERLITE

CUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminium, which has the qualities – high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength – that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.

FULLY EQUIPPED

A bicycle is such a versatile tool. That's why many riders add accessories like a luggage carrier, mudguards, kickstand and lights. But with our Fully Equipped range you don't have to, because we've already taken care of all of that. With carefully selected accessories that match and integrate with each bike, you're all set for any journey from the weekday commute to a longer tour.

GRAVEL COMFORT GEOMETRY

Combining everything we know about building great-riding off-road bikes, Gravel Comfort Geometry is the secret ingredient that makes our gravel series such a blast to ride. Nimble enough to mix it up in the rough, stable enough for reassuring descents and with comfort for the long haul, we've got it all covered.

OPTIONAL LOW RIDER

Adventure sometimes demands different kit. That's where our low rider rack mounts come in. Designed to accept an optional fork rack, they're a great way to carry up to 10kg of additional weight for extended tours. Not only that but carrying some of your luggage over the front wheel helps improve weight distribution and handling. Win, win.

Semi-Integrated Carrier 2.1

Sleek, sturdy and almost endlessly versatile, the Semi-Integrated Carrier 2.1 – and a range of compatible ACID bags and accessories – transforms your bike into a flexible load-carrying companion. For work, for play, for whatever you want.

CUBE is one of Europe's most successful bicycle brands, founded in 1993 by Marcus Pürner in the small Bavarian town of Waldershof in the Fichtel Mountains of Germany. The origin story is modest and very German in its practicality: still a student, Marcus started in a 50-square-metre corner of his father's furniture factory, sourcing frames from Asia and assembling them locally with high-quality components — initially just to fund his university studies. Over three decades that small workshop has grown into one of Europe's largest bicycle producers, with products sold in more than 60 countries and around 1,000 people working under the brand today. Unlike many top-level competitors, CUBE remains an owner-managed family business — Marcus Pürner still leads the brand to this day, which means decisions are made for the long term, not under the pressure of quarterly results for stock-market shareholders. The heart of CUBE is still in Waldershof: the state-of-the-art 35,000-square-metre factory opened in 2016 employs 600 people working two shifts and assembles up to 4,500 bikes per day — making CUBE one of the most productive bicycle assemblers based in Europe. Next door, in the company headquarters, the brand's engineering team handles all frame design, geometry calculation and component selection. Every component goes through a double quality check — once during production and again at CUBE's own test lab, which has dedicated rigs for road and mountain bike testing (for example, frames are loaded with forces equivalent to a sprint). The range is extremely broad — over 400 different models, covering everything from city and kids' bikes to e-bikes, gravel, MTB and full-on professional road racing machines — supported by an in-house clothing and accessories collection. In top-level sport, CUBE is currently the main bike supplier to the Belgian WorldTour team Intermarché–Wanty, and the brand's own action team supports enduro and DH racing as well as triathlon top performers (including multiple Ironman world champion Lucy Charles-Barclay). The CUBE philosophy is simple: solid German engineering at a fair price — "Cube your Life".
