Overview
Multitool SKS MIA 8
The SKS MIA 8 is an ultra-lightweight, compact and durable bicycle multitool featuring eight essential functions, specifically designed for performance-oriented cyclists who value low weight, reliability and ease of use. MIA, short for Mini Assistant, is a practical companion for handling unexpected mechanical issues and making minor adjustments during a ride. Thanks to its exceptionally compact construction, the tool fits easily into a cycling jersey pocket, saddle bag or other small storage compartment without adding noticeable weight to your cycling equipment.
The eight carefully selected tool functions are designed to meet the most common fastening standards found on modern bicycles. The multitool includes seven hex keys in sizes 2 / 2.5 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 8 mm and a T25 Torx key. This selection allows riders to perform a wide range of routine maintenance and adjustment tasks, including adjusting handlebars, seatposts and other components, as well as tightening bolts that may loosen during a ride. The T25 Torx key is particularly useful for servicing various fasteners commonly found on modern bicycle components.
All tools are manufactured from high-quality chrome vanadium steel, offering excellent strength, wear resistance and precise engagement with bolt heads. The durable material withstands repeated use while maintaining reliable performance and functionality. This is especially important during performance-oriented cycling, where tools need to be ready for quick adjustments even in demanding conditions.
The forged aluminium housing combines minimal weight with impressive durability. Rounded edges provide comfortable handling, while the textured side panels improve grip and allow the multitool to be held securely during use. Its ergonomic construction makes it easier to perform precise adjustments, even when working in confined spaces.
One of the SKS MIA 8's greatest advantages is its exceptionally low weight of just 58 grams. Compact dimensions of 56 x 25 x 12 mm allow the multitool to be carried almost unnoticed. This makes it an excellent choice for road and gravel cyclists who want to minimise the weight of their riding essentials without sacrificing access to important tools.
The SKS MIA 8 combines essential tool functions for modern bicycles with a minimalist and ergonomic design. It is an ideal companion for training sessions, races and longer performance-focused rides where low weight, compact dimensions and immediate accessibility are key priorities.
