The Enduro BRT-040 is a dedicated bearing removal and installation tool kit designed for servicing bottom bracket and hub bearings. It is intended for use in combination with the Enduro BRT-060 and BRT-050 bearing presses, significantly expanding their functionality.

The BRT-040 allows for gentle and controlled removal and installation of bearings by utilizing the threaded rod and nut from the bearing press to press bearings in and out of components evenly. This method minimizes the risk of damage to bearings, frames, and hubs.

This tool kit is especially well suited for stainless steel and XD15 bearings, which can be removed, cleaned, and reinstalled multiple times if they become rough or contaminated with dirt. As a result, the BRT-040 is an excellent choice for professional workshops as well as demanding home mechanics.

The kit includes cups, guides, and pullers that enable the removal and installation of all common bottom bracket and hub bearing sizes when used together with the BRT-060 or BRT-050 presses. Please note that the receiver cups supplied for hub bearing removal are intended for hubs that feature axle stops.

The BRT-040 shares many cross-compatible components with the Enduro BRT-003 24 mm bottom bracket press tool and overlaps in functionality with the BRT-002 (30 mm BB) and BRT-016 (29 mm DUB BB) tools, making it a highly versatile addition to any workshop.
