The Shimano TL-LR20 is a dedicated lock ring tool for installing and removing oversized Center Lock disc brake rotor lock rings. It is designed for Shimano SM-RT80 rotors and is used when an oversized Center Lock lock ring is fitted instead of a standard Center Lock lock ring.
The TL-LR20 is made from hardened steel, providing the rigidity, strength and durability required for reliable workshop use. Its robust construction ensures secure engagement with the lock ring, helping make rotor installation and removal more precise and controlled.
The tool is designed for use with a 24 mm wrench drive. It can also be used with a 1/2" square male drive impact wrench or Shimano TL-MH10. This makes the TL-LR20 a practical choice for workshops and home mechanics who need the correct tool for servicing oversized Center Lock systems.
