THULE SlideBar 162 roof rack bars are an innovative solution for the Thule Evo roof rack system, designed to make loading easier and access to roof-mounted cargo more convenient. The set includes two load bars that are suitable for roof boxes, bike carriers, ski carriers and other roof-mounted accessories.

The main advantage of the SlideBar system is its two-way sliding function. The bars can slide up to 60 cm in either direction, making it much easier to reach luggage and equipment placed on the roof. This is especially useful when loading or unloading heavier or bulkier items, particularly on taller vehicles.

Ergonomic rubber-covered handles allow the bars to be moved easily with one hand. Safe operation is supported by a quick-lock function and a red indicator that clearly shows whether the bar is in the open or closed position. The upper T-track allows fast accessory installation and removal, while the lockable design helps prevent unauthorised use.
