A featherweight climber: the new DURA-ACE C36 pairs an ultra-light 36 mm full-carbon rim with a lighter hub for snappy acceleration, low rotational inertia and stable handling in crosswinds. The 21 mm internal width supports modern, lower-pressure tires, while tubeless readiness reduces rolling resistance and puncture risk.
An alloy freehub body with a new engagement mechanism boosts drive rigidity and response. OPTBAL spoke lacing balances tension for stiffness and durability. The CENTER LOCK disc system and 12×100 mm E-THRU axle deliver precise braking and torsional stability.
