The Northwave KATANA SRS women’s mountain bike shoes are lightweight, well ventilated and engineered for efficient power transfer on demanding trails, fast training rides and longer off-road adventures. Their women-specific construction provides a secure fit, lasting comfort and reliable control across varied terrain.

The Jaws Carbon Reinforced outsole is made from thermoplastic material enriched with carbon powder and finished with a natural rubber tread. This construction combines low weight, efficient power transfer and dependable grip both on the pedals and when walking, including on steep and technical descents.

The S.R.S. Slim Ratchet System is a compact and lightweight closure mechanism that allows precise tension adjustment, even while riding. Its anatomical shape follows the foot to provide a comfortable and secure fit without unnecessary bulk.

The multilayer thermowelded upper combines lightweight microfibre with large mesh ventilation inserts. Compared with a traditional single-layer construction, this design reduces weight while improving comfort and airflow inside the shoe.

The AirFlow ventilation system channels fresh air through openings beneath the sole and through lateral vents. This helps keep the feet cooler and reduces the build-up of excess heat and moisture during intensive riding.

The integrated heel system is built directly into the one-piece upper, delivering secure heel retention without requiring external components. Microinjected protective reinforcements shield the foot from branches, stones and other trail impacts.

Asymmetrically positioned straps follow the natural anatomy of the foot and reduce pressure on sensitive lateral areas. Their lightweight, low-profile construction maintains secure grip, while the Performance Advanced Footbed supports an ergonomic pedalling position and improves comfort.
