The REX 1200W waxing iron is a new-generation, high-power tool designed for serious ski service technicians, offering excellent value for money. Its powerful performance and well-engineered soleplate make it suitable for both advanced enthusiasts and professionals.

The iron delivers 1200 W of power with a maximum temperature of 200°C. The oversized soleplate (170 x 102 mm) includes a flat working area of 158 x 87 mm and smoothly rounded edges. The 16 mm thick base ensures even heat distribution, stable temperature and slow cooling.

The soleplate features 77 small 3 mm dimples that reduce direct contact with the ski base, helping to prevent overheating. At the same time, they allow wax to melt efficiently and spread evenly. The iron is suitable for all types of waxes, including solid paraffins, racing powders and additives.

An elastic power cord with a flexible connection improves handling. Temperature is maintained by a reliable analogue thermostat and adjusted via a control dial. High power output makes the iron suitable for cold rooms and outdoor use. For paraffin, choose a temperature that melts the wax easily without smoking.
