Overview
VISU EXTRA WAX Kids Classic Skis With Bindings
The VISU EXTRA WAX skis are children’s classic skis with universal flex, ideal for beginners and training. Made from a fiberglass-reinforced wooden core and durable plastic base, they weigh about 1050 g per pair with bindings.
Equipped with ROTTEFELLA BASIC touring bindings compatible with NNN boot soles (sizes 36–39). The bindings feature a convenient STEP-IN locking mechanism and open with a button press.
Note: Do not use hot wax on these skis. Glide can be improved with liquid quick wax. For classic skiing, determine and roughen the grip zone and apply kick wax. After skiing in wet or dirty snow, clean the bases with ski cleaner or a nylon brush.
Manufactured in Russia under commission from former VISU employees at the same factory producing entry-level skis for brands like ROSSIGNOL, MADSHUS, ATOMIC, SKITRAB, PELTONEN, KARHU, and JÄRVINEN. The design is inspired by the 1970s VISU Extra model as a tribute to Viisnurga’s designers such as Feliks Villo. VISU skis were made in Pärnu from 1939 to 2004 and once produced over 300,000 pairs annually.
