The Park Tool HTR-1 is a complete professional tool set for accurate bicycle frame preparation during bike building, servicing or overhaul work. Properly prepared head tubes and press fit bottom bracket shells are essential for headset and bottom bracket components to sit squarely, accurately and reliably in the frame.

The HTR-1 is designed for reaming and facing both head tubes and press fit bottom bracket shells. The durable handle assembly features a quick-release, quick-adjust design, allowing easy installation, adjustment and removal of cutting tools. It is a workshop-quality solution for mechanics who need precision and stability when preparing bicycle frames.

The set includes a 30.1 mm reamer for the 1" headset standard, a 45 mm facer and several pilots for different head tube sizes. In SHIS terminology, the standard HTR-1 will face EC29, EC30, EC34 and EC37 frames, and will ream EC30 frames. Optional accessories include more than 20 different reamers and facers, expanding compatibility to most common headset and press fit bottom bracket standards.

The HTR-1 is also available as the HTR-1B version with a reamer for the 1 1/8" standard, or as the HTR-HS standalone handle set without reamers, facers or pilots. Cutting fluid, such as Park Tool CF-2, should always be used when machining to ensure clean cutting performance and help extend tool life.
