Tire Maxxis Aspen 32x2.40" WT TR EXO MaxxSpeed
The Maxxis Aspen is a fast XC racing tire that combines low rolling resistance, low weight and dependable grip across a wide range of conditions. In the centre of the tread, narrow and slightly angled siped knobs alternate with small bevelled blocks to provide an excellent balance between fast rolling and effective traction.
The side knobs are arranged to increase cornering grip and maintain control during aggressive XC riding. The supple 120 TPI casing helps the tire roll efficiently and conform to the terrain, while EXO Protection adds resistance against cuts and abrasion on the sidewalls without adding unnecessary weight.
The MaxxSpeed compound is developed specifically for XC racing. Its high-silica formulation reduces rolling resistance while improving traction in wet conditions. The Tubeless Ready construction allows lower tire pressures to be used for increased grip and comfort while reducing the risk of pinch flats. The WT, or Wide Trail, construction is optimized for wider MTB rim profiles.
