The THULE Adapter 982 is designed for mounting bikes with non-standard frames, such as women’s bikes, BMX bikes and mountain bikes, on bike carriers that secure the bike by the top tube. The adapter is fitted between the seat tube and headset and is compatible with HangOn, ClipOn, Xpress and other similar Thule bike carriers.
It is also suitable for delicate carbon frames that require extra protection during transport. Compatible with bikes where the distance between the seat tube and headset is 580–670 mm.
