REX ARCTIC WINTER V2 is a wax-and-oil hybrid chain lubricant developed specifically for demanding winter conditions. Based on the popular Rex Domestique chain lube, the updated V2 formula is completely PFAS-free and designed to provide improved protection against snow, cold, water and road salt in temperatures down to -30 °C.

A higher wax content together with melted Rex hot wax improves durability and helps reduce drivetrain wear. Rex N-Kinetic hydrophobic polymers enhance water resistance and corrosion protection, while the cold-optimised viscosity allows the lubricant to perform reliably even in severe freezing conditions without solidifying.

Rex Arctic is solvent-free, non-evaporating and undiluted, meaning every drop applied to the chain remains as active lubricant. There is no need to wait for solvents to evaporate before riding. One 30 g bottle provides up to approximately 30 applications, while the typical lubrication interval ranges from around 50 to 500 km depending on weather, dirt and riding conditions.

For best results, thoroughly clean and degrease the chain before the first application and allow it to dry completely. Shake the bottle well, apply one drop to each roller while turning the cranks backwards, then work the lubricant into the rollers with your fingers. Repeat the application once more and wipe excess lubricant from the outside of the chain. Reapply when the chain begins to feel dry; full cleaning is generally only necessary when the chain becomes heavily contaminated.
