The Suomi Tyres Piikkisika TLR SL is a modern high-performance winter mountain bike tire designed to deliver ultimate control and safety in extreme winter conditions. It performs reliably on ice, snow and slushy terrain.
Equipped with 396 aluminum crown studs with hard metal pins, the tire offers outstanding grip on ice and confident braking and cornering performance. The stud layout is carefully optimized to maintain continuous traction while rolling.
The aramid folding bead construction reduces weight while improving durability. An additional central nylon-reinforced belt and extra sidewall protection enhance puncture resistance and make the tire suitable for e-bikes (e25 ready).
Its Tubeless Ready and sealant-compatible design allows lower tire pressures for improved comfort and traction without compromising reliability.
