SpeedBox 1.1 for Bosch is a best-selling tuning chip for e-bikes equipped with Bosch Smart System motors. It allows the rider to change and switch on/off the assistance limit of the Bosch e-bike motor and enjoy the full performance of the bike in conditions where it is not used in public traffic.

SpeedBox 1.1 removes the factory 25 km/h assistance limit. The factory preset maximum speed is 35 km/h for the EU version and 22 mph for the US version. Do not change the speed limit. The display may show values approximately 10 km/h lower than the actual speed.

The module is compatible with Bosch Smart System 4th and 5th generation motors with round connectors. It works with Kiox 300, Kiox 500, Intuvia 100, Purion 200 and Purion 400 displays, as well as LED Remote, Mini Remote, System Controller and SpeedBox Tracker units.

Not compatible with standard Bosch motors using rectangular connectors, ABS, Enviolo Automatiq or Rim Magnet systems.

SpeedBox 1.1 is activated and deactivated via the WALK function or the + - + - buttons. The custom speed limit is adjustable, but the module does not include Bluetooth support and does not support updates.

Important usage information: According to European Union regulations, an e-bike motor may assist the bicycle only up to a speed of 25 km/h. At higher speeds, motor assistance must switch off. Riding an e-bike with a modified electric motor on public roads and in traffic is prohibited by law in the European Union.

A bicycle modified with SpeedBox may only be used on privately owned land, such as a closed track or another area not open to public traffic. The seller accepts no responsibility for damage, accidents, warranty issues or legal consequences resulting from the use of SpeedBox products. Using SpeedBox products automatically voids the warranty of the Bosch e-bike components installed on the bicycle.
