Bottom Bracket Tool Park Tool BBT-9
The Park Tool BBT-9 is a durable bottom bracket tool for removing and installing selected threaded bottom brackets with external bearing cups. It fits 16-notch tool fittings and is compatible with many Shimano, SRAM GXP, Chris King, Campagnolo and other bottom brackets. The same tool fitting is also used on some disc brake rotor lockrings.
The BBT-9 is a practical tool for servicing, replacing or upgrading bottom brackets. Its long plated-steel handle provides excellent leverage for high-torque applications, while the vinyl-dipped grip improves comfort and control during use.
In addition, the tool includes a fitting for removing and installing 8-point Shimano Hollowtech II crank arm adjusting caps. This function is equivalent to the Shimano TL-FC16 or TL-FC18 tool, making the BBT-9 a versatile choice for Hollowtech II service work.
