The integrated 2-Way-Release feature allows the cable to be released either by pushing with the thumb or pulling with the index finger. This means you don’t need to adapt your riding style to the rear derailleur – the rear derailleur adapts to your riding style. The result is ergonomic and flexible control on climbs, descents and technical sections alike.
