Road Pedals Shimano Dura-Ace PD-R9300
Shimano Dura-Ace PD-R9300 are high-end road pedals for professionals and ambitious cyclists, introducing Shimano's new SPD-SLR standard. The extremely low profile and extra-wide platform create a stable pedalling base and help transfer power as directly as possible to the bike.
The new SPD-SLR shoe, cleat and pedal interface is 2.3 mm lower than the previous SPD-SL system, bringing the foot closer to the pedal axle. A larger engagement area and narrower 10.5° clip-in angle allow faster and more natural engagement. An integrated stainless steel contact plate improves interface stiffness, while the wider bearing arrangement and revised axle design increase stiffness by 11% compared with the PD-R8200.
A heat-treated axle and optimised bearing surfaces reduce rotational resistance by 53% compared with the PD-R8200. The lightweight injection-moulded carbon composite body, sealed mechanism and adjustable release tension make the PD-R9300 a race-level pedal designed for maximum efficiency.
Shimano CL-SL110 yellow cleats are included and provide 6° of lateral float for increased comfort and reduced joint stress. SPD-SLR cleats are designed exclusively for SPD-SLR pedals and are not backwards compatible with SPD-SL pedals.
