Overview
Rear Derailleur Shimano SLX RD-M7000 GS Shadow+ 11-speed
The Shimano SLX RD-M7000-11-GS is a sporty and durable 11-speed rear derailleur designed for demanding mountain biking. The SLX M7000 series delivers high-level performance, bringing advanced Shimano technology to an accessible price point. It is an excellent choice for trail, all-mountain, and performance-oriented MTB riders.
Featuring SHIMANO SHADOW RD+ technology, the derailleur has a low-profile design with an integrated clutch mechanism that enhances chain stability and reduces chain slap on rough terrain. The result is a quieter, smoother, and more secure drivetrain performance on technical trails.
The improved mechanism provides up to 20% lighter shifting, enabling faster and smoother gear transitions. The GS medium cage version is compatible with both 1x11 and 2x11 drivetrains, supporting cassettes up to 42T (2x11) or 46T (1x11).
