Overview
Rear Derailleur Shimano GRX RD-RX822 SGS 12-speed
The Shimano GRX RD-RX822 is a 1x12-speed rear derailleur designed for mixed terrain and gravel riding. Its integrated chain stabilizer ensures quiet, secure and precise shifting performance, even on rough and technical surfaces. The GRX series is purpose-built for gravel and adventure riding where reliability and control are essential.
The SGS version is compatible with 10–51T 12-speed SHIMANO MTB cassettes, offering an exceptionally wide gear range. SHIMANO SHADOW RD+ technology with an adjustable clutch reduces chain slap and prevents chain drops, ensuring stable performance in demanding conditions.
Gravel-tuned clutch tension and compatibility with modern road DUAL CONTROL LEVER shifters make the RD-RX822-SGS an excellent choice for riders seeking maximum drivetrain reliability and extended gear range in a 1x12 setup.
