The integrated chain stabilisation system reduces chain drop, chain slap and noise, ensuring a quieter ride in every gear position. Reduced derailleur and chain tension in lower gears improves control and maintains smooth operation when using large sprockets.

Compatible with 11-speed 11–51T cassettes, the RD-M5100-SGS supports a maximum sprocket size of 51T. The enlarged 13T pulleys reduce friction and enhance drivetrain longevity, making it an excellent choice for modern 1x11 MTB drivetrains.
