Overview
Rear Derailleur Shimano Alivio RD-M3100 SGS 9-speed
The Shimano Alivio RD-M3100 is a modern and reliable 9-speed rear derailleur designed for active MTB riding. The ALIVIO M3100 series combines durability, smooth shifting, and a sporty design to deliver consistent performance on trails and during everyday training rides.
Featuring the SHIMANO SHADOW RD low-profile design, the derailleur reduces outward protrusion and improves durability on technical terrain. This helps prevent impacts and shifting interruptions during aggressive riding, ensuring stable and quiet drivetrain performance.
The updated mechanism is compatible with both 2x9 and 3x9 drivetrains, providing precise and smooth shifting. In combination with RAPIDFIRE PLUS MONO technology, gear changes feel intuitive and responsive. The SGS long cage supports cassettes up to 36T, offering a wide gear range for varied MTB conditions.
