Varia™ RTL515 rearview radar provides both visual and audible alerts for vehicles approaching from behind from up to 140 metres away.

WORKS WITH THE VARIA APP

This smartphone app helps keep you better informed of the position and speed of approaching vehicles using graphics, audible alerts and vibration alerts.

MULTIPLE PAIRING OPTIONS

This radar works with your Edge bike computer or compatible smartphone, as well as selected Garmin smartwatches or the optional radar display unit. In addition to wrist-based alerts, selected Garmin smartwatches also provide voice alerts about approaching vehicles and more.

COMPATIBLE WITH THIRD-PARTY APPS

When Varia radar is used with a compatible smartphone, the radar works with other apps, such as Ride with GPS, to display rearview radar alerts on maps.

SUPERIOR VISIBILITY

COMPACT DESIGN

This slim, compact device is easy to mount on the seatposts of almost all road bikes. Its vertical design allows your legs to move freely and makes riding extremely comfortable.

PELOTON MODE

The Varia™ RTL515 has multiple modes, including peloton mode, in which the light flashes at a lower intensity to protect the eyes of other cyclists.

BATTERY LIFE

Charging is not as much fun as riding. Battery life is up to 16 hours in day flash mode and up to 6 hours in solid mode.
