The Enduro 6901 LLU MAX BOSL is a MAX-type radial suspension bearing specifically designed for bicycle suspension pivots, where high loads and multi-directional forces are common. Enduro Bearings pioneered the MAX bearing concept over 20 years ago to address the demanding conditions found in mountain bike suspension systems.

MAX-type bearings provide 35–40% greater load capacity than standard radial bearings by using a full-complement design, meaning the bearing contains the maximum possible number of balls and no cage. Combined with deeper race grooves, this design offers significantly improved lateral support and extended bearing life.

This model features Solid-Lube technology, where traditional grease is replaced by a solid lubricant-infused polymer. The Solid-Lube material fills nearly the entire internal cavity of the bearing, leaving almost no space for water or dirt to accumulate, resulting in a completely maintenance-free bearing.

Solid-Lube consists of a continuous microporous polymer combined with a proprietary lubricant containing special additives. Under the effects of temperature and pressure, lubricant is transferred from millions of micropores onto the balls and race surfaces, forming a uniform and continuous lubrication film. When motion stops, the lubricant is drawn back into the polymer by capillary action, ready for the next movement.

This MAX-type bearing uses Black-Oxide / Magnetite treated 52100 high-carbon chromium steel races paired with Grade 10 balls for increased strength, corrosion resistance, and durability. LLU full-contact double-lip labyrinth seals provide maximum protection against water, mud, and contaminants.
