Fat Bike Mongoose Argus Sport

Mongoose Argus Sport is a 26-inch fat bike designed for riding where conventional mountain bike traction and flotation may not be enough. Its extra-wide 26x4.8" tires provide excellent stability and grip on snow, sand, soft terrain and challenging forest trails.

The lightweight Tectonic T2 aluminium frame features dedicated fat bike geometry, internal cable routing, a replaceable derailleur hanger and a tapered head tube. A rigid aluminium Mongoose fork keeps the construction simple and efficient while delivering precise steering and predictable handling.

The Shimano Deore 1x10 drivetrain is paired with a wide-range 11-46T Sunrace cassette, providing suitable gearing for steep climbs as well as faster trail sections. The single-chainring setup keeps shifting simple and helps reduce drivetrain complexity and maintenance.

Tektro HD-M290 hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors provide powerful and controllable stopping performance in wet, muddy and winter conditions. A wide 785 mm Xposure handlebar combined with a short 60 mm stem supports confident steering and good control on loose surfaces.

Mongoose aluminium rims with a generous 95 mm internal width are tubeless compatible and work together with the folding 26x4.8" Xposure tires to create a large contact patch for maximum flotation and traction. The Mongoose Argus Sport is an excellent choice for winter riding, adventure use and exploring soft or loose terrain.
