REX Cross-Country Ski Scraper 4mm with Logo

This 4 mm thick acrylic scraper is designed for experienced ski waxers who work with well-maintained, straight cross-country ski bases. Its stiff construction allows efficient removal of excess paraffin after waxing, leaving the base clean and ready for finishing.

For older skis with softer or wavy plastic bases, such as some Madhus models and similar, we recommend using softer and more flexible 3 mm scrapers. While a stiffer scraper is more effective, improper use can cause damage to the ski base.

If you are at the beginning of your waxing journey, starting with a softer scraper is also advised. The right tool and technique help preserve the base structure and extend ski lifespan.

The scraper edges should be sharpened regularly. Use 150–200 grit sandpaper on a flat surface or dedicated scraper sharpening tools to maintain a sharp and even edge.
