Wet or icy snow almost always requires a klister-based grip solution, as hard grip waxes are not soft or elastic enough to provide reliable grip. The START collection includes a versatile range of klisters suitable for various snow conditions.

The START standard series klisters are fluor-free grip waxes designed for both recreational skiers and racers. START PURPLE is intended for moist, coarse-grained and icy tracks in temperatures from 0 to –5°C.

Instructions for use

Apply a thin layer of base klister to the ski base. Warm the tube if needed. Smooth the klister with a warm waxing iron so the entire kick zone is evenly covered. Level with your thumb or a synthetic cork and allow to cool.

Then apply the temperature-specific klister in small drops, spaced about 5 cm apart on both sides of the ski’s groove. Spread evenly using your thumb or a cork. Remove excess klister from the groove and ski edges.

When mixing klisters, apply drops of different klisters and blend them with your thumb. Let the skis cool thoroughly before skiing.
