Swix V40 Blue Extra is the most popular SWIX V-series grip wax, known for its flexibility and wide temperature range on the cold side of freezing. Works best near 0°C when the snow is relatively new and air humidity is low (below 45–50%).

Ideal for both training and racing. New fallen snow: -1°C to -7°C, transformed fine-grained snow: -3°C to -10°C. Offers reliable grip and smooth glide across varying cold conditions.
