The Park Tool BBT-18 is a heavy-duty investment-cast tool for removing and installing components with an eight-notch tool fitting. It is suitable for selected cartridge bottom brackets, as well as chainring lockrings on some e-bike drivetrains.

BBT-18 installs and removes Shimano Octalink drive-side bottom bracket cups with external notches, ISIS Drive bottom bracket cups including Truvativ and Bontrager, and front chainring lockrings for Bosch Gen 3, Gen 4 and Gen 5 e-bike systems. It is also compatible with front chainring lockrings on Specialized Levo Brose e-bike systems.

The tool features eight notches with a nominal outside diameter of 43.4 mm and 36 mm wrench flats. The hole in the centre of the casting is 22.5 mm and will not fit over 30 mm spindles. For 30 mm spindles, Park Tool BBT-118 should be used instead.
