Helmet Lazer Tardiz 2

The Lazer Tardiz 2 is a modern interpretation of the classic Lazer triathlon helmet, built around two essential qualities: aerodynamic performance and effective cooling. Its narrow teardrop shape and small frontal area help reduce drag, making it ideal for triathlon, time trial and other speed-focused cycling disciplines.

The rear of the helmet features a dimpled surface inspired by the structure of a golf ball. This creates a thin turbulent boundary layer that helps airflow remain attached to the helmet for longer. The resulting smaller wake behind the helmet reduces aerodynamic drag. The shape is computer-designed, wind-tunnel-tested and race-proven for maximum aerodynamic efficiency.

The Turnfit® Plus fit system adjusts around the entire circumference of the head, helping prevent pressure points and providing a secure, comfortable fit. The adjustable head basket allows the rear section of the retention system to be moved up or down, changing the helmet’s vertical position to suit the rider’s head shape and comfort preferences.

The top of the helmet features an Aquavent cooling port for instant relief in hot conditions. The spring-loaded cap can be opened using the tip of a water bottle, allowing water to be dispersed directly over the rider’s head for evaporative cooling. When additional aerodynamic performance is required, the Aquavent can be replaced with a closed cover.

The open front and ear-area design allows different types of cycling eyewear to be used without affecting helmet fit or causing pressure from the temples. Its comfortable construction also makes the Tardiz 2 suitable for long hours in the saddle, helping riders stay cool and focused throughout the race.
