The GIRO HELIOS SPHERICAL MIPS is a premium and versatile cycling helmet designed for road riding, gravel routes and longer adventure rides. It combines GIRO’s streamlined design, low weight, efficient ventilation and advanced protection technology.

Spherical Technology powered by MIPS® uses two independent In-Mold liners that can move relative to one another in a ball-and-socket configuration. During certain angled impacts, this system helps reduce rotational forces transferred to the head while maintaining effective ventilation and wearing comfort.

The In-Mold polycarbonate outer shell is bonded to an impact-absorbing EPS liner, creating a strong and lightweight structure. Nanobead™ EPS foam supports the protective construction, while Full Lower Hardbody™ coverage protects the lower edge of the helmet and improves overall durability and finish.

The helmet features 15 Wind Tunnel vents with internal channeling. These guide cooling air through the helmet and help exhaust warm air from the rear, providing effective cooling during intense training sessions and long summer rides.

The Roc Loc® 5 Air fit system allows the helmet to be adjusted quickly and precisely. It keeps the helmet stable and creates space between the rider’s head and the inner liner, improving airflow and comfort.

Ionic+™ antimicrobial padding helps reduce odour and keeps the inside of the helmet fresher. Reflective decals improve visibility in low-light conditions. Weighing 270 grams in size medium, the helmet complies with CPSC and CE EN1078 safety standards.
