Helmet GIRO AEROHEAD MIPS
The GIRO AEROHEAD MIPS is an aerodynamic cycling helmet for triathletes and time trial riders who need maximum speed, efficient cooling and a clear field of vision. Its streamlined profile helps reduce drag, while carefully designed ventilation supports comfort during intense efforts and hot race conditions.
In-Mold construction bonds the lightweight polycarbonate outer shell to the impact-absorbing inner liner, creating a strong and performance-focused structure. This design provides durability while maintaining an aerodynamic shape and race-oriented fit.
Integrated MIPS technology helps reduce rotational forces transferred to the head during certain angled impacts. This adds an extra level of protection in situations where the helmet is struck off-centre.
The Roc Loc® 5 Air fit system allows precise and comfortable adjustment. It helps keep the helmet stable and creates space between the rider’s head and the inner liner, improving cooling during long races and demanding training sessions.
The wraparound eye shield by ZEISS® Optics provides a wide and unrestricted field of view, which is especially valuable during fast time trials and triathlon transitions. Its magnetic lens anchor keeps the shield securely in place while allowing quick removal or storage in the flipped-up position on the helmet.
Four Wind Tunnel vents with internal channeling, Over-brow ventilation and a vented eye shield guide cooling air through the helmet and help exhaust warm air. X-Static antimicrobial padding improves comfort and helps keep the inside of the helmet fresher for longer.
