Helmet GIRO AEROHEAD MIPS

The GIRO AEROHEAD MIPS is an aerodynamic time trial and triathlon helmet that uses the wind-cheating silhouette of the Aerohead Ultimate while adding increased ventilation. This helps keep riders cooler during high-intensity competition without compromising aerodynamic performance.

The In-Mold construction bonds the polycarbonate outer shell to the impact-absorbing inner liner, creating a strong unified structure. The lightweight polycarbonate shell combines durability, aerodynamics and the cooling performance required for racing.

Integrated MIPS® protection technology helps reduce rotational forces transferred to the head during certain angled impacts. The Roc Loc® Air fit system allows precise adjustment and suspends the helmet slightly above the head to improve airflow and wearing comfort.

The wrap-around eye shield, manufactured by ZEISS® Optics, provides an impressive field of vision while helping protect the eyes from wind, insects and flying debris. Magnetic anchor points allow the lens to be removed quickly or stored in the flipped-up position on top of the helmet, making it ideal for fast swim-to-bike transitions.

Wind Tunnel™ ventilation combines internal channeling, a vented eye shield and Over-brow ventilation to guide cooling air through the helmet and exhaust warm air. Four Wind Tunnel vents are positioned to improve cooling during intense efforts while maintaining the helmet’s aerodynamic profile.

Super Fit Engineering helps create a stable and race-focused fit. The GIRO AEROHEAD MIPS is designed for triathletes and time trial riders who require aerodynamic efficiency, a wide field of vision and effective ventilation in demanding race conditions.
