The Shimano XTR FD-M986 is a top-tier front derailleur designed for demanding MTB riders and racers. As part of the XTR series, it delivers exceptional precision, low weight and maximum reliability in the most challenging off-road conditions.
The Down Swing mechanism moves downward to provide stable chain control and consistent shifting under load. A Direct Mount interface allows the derailleur to be mounted directly to the frame, increasing stiffness and improving overall shifting accuracy.
