Overview

Front Brake Caliper Shimano BR-R451

The Shimano BR-R451 front brake is designed to provide increased tyre clearance and reliable braking performance for road and fitness bikes. With a 57 mm reach, it is ideal for frames requiring additional space for wider tyres while maintaining precise and predictable braking control.

Featuring the SHIMANO SUPER SLR system, it ensures light operation and efficient power transfer from the brake lever to the caliper. The dual pivot construction enhances stiffness and braking precision, delivering confident stopping performance in various riding conditions.

Adjustable inward brake shoes allow accurate setup for optimal rim contact, while the wider quick release opening makes wheel removal fast and convenient. The 57 mm reach supports tyre widths up to 32 mm, making this brake a versatile choice for modern road bikes.
