The FISCHER SPEEDMAX 100 SKATE JR is a junior skate ski set built with the same high-end technology as the adult World Cup SPEEDMAX models, only without the 3D gliding sidewalls. In all other aspects it is a true race ski in smaller lengths, resulting in even lower weight and easier handling for young athletes, plus a more affordable price.
The set includes RACE JR SKATE IFP TURNAMIC bindings for NNN sole skate boots, providing excellent power transfer, stability and control for ambitious juniors. Thanks to FLOWFLEX® technology the binding can flex together with the ski, improving efficiency and snow contact in all conditions.
The lightweight core is based on Air Core HM Carbon, where more than 80% of the volume is air combined with high-modulus carbon fibres, giving an extremely light yet torsionally strong ski. The Hole Ski tip reduces swing weight at the front, making it easier to initiate and control the skating push. Cold Base Bonding preserves the molecular structure of the base, allowing superior wax absorption, excellent grindability and maximum speed potential.
The DTG World Cup Plus structure is deeper and coarser, optimized for temperatures down to -10 °C and for warm, wet snow. The skis come Prewaxed from the factory, treated by infrared with a fluorinated wax for excellent glide and protection against dirt and oxidation. All finishing steps are combined under the term Finish First, Fischer’s label for top-level race base quality.
