The ACID HYBRID PRO HPA 38T chainring is designed for e-bikes with the Bosch Gen4 motor system, where drivetrain reliability, quiet running and secure chain retention are especially important. It is a modern direct mount chainring that transfers pedalling power efficiently from the crank to the chainring and onward through the chain.
Thanks to Narrow Wide® technology, the chain stays more securely on the chainring and the drivetrain runs more quietly than with conventional tooth profiles. The alternating narrow and wide teeth improve chain guidance and help prevent unwanted chain drops, which is particularly valuable under the higher torque and load of e-bike use.
Made from aluminium, the chainring offers a good balance of low weight and stiffness. The 53 mm chainline and compatibility with Shimano 12-speed drivetrains make it a suitable choice for modern Bosch Gen4 e-bikes.
