Disc Brake Pads Shimano G04S-MX Metal
Shimano G04S-MX Metal are high-performance metallic disc brake pads designed for compatible Shimano 2-piston disc brakes. Suitable for demanding mountain biking and everyday cycling, they deliver powerful, consistent and reliable braking performance in both dry and wet conditions.
The metallic sintered compound provides excellent wear resistance and helps maintain consistent braking power during prolonged braking and high temperatures. Compared with softer resin compounds, metallic pads generally offer greater durability under demanding riding conditions. Shimano rates the G04S-MX pads at the highest level (5/5) for braking performance, durability and fade resistance.
The pads feature a narrow friction surface with durable steel backing plates. Designed without cooling fins, they are compatible with a wide range of Shimano XTR, Deore XT, SLX, Deore and Alfine brake models. Good braking modulation provides predictable control on technical terrain, while the robust construction supports long-lasting performance.
