Disc Brake Pads Shimano D02S Metal
Shimano D02S Metal are high-performance metallic disc brake pads designed for Shimano 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes. Engineered for demanding mountain biking, they deliver powerful, consistent and reliable braking in both dry and wet conditions, making them an excellent choice for technical trails, steep descents and intensive off-road riding.
The metallic sintered compound provides excellent wear resistance and helps maintain consistent braking power during prolonged braking and high temperatures. Compared with softer resin compounds, metallic pads generally offer greater durability under demanding riding conditions. Shimano rates the D02S pads at the highest level (5/5) for braking performance, durability and fade resistance.
The pads feature a Narrow D shape with stainless steel backing plates for reliable strength and durability. They are designed without cooling fins and are compatible with selected Shimano SAINT, ZEE, Deore XT, SLX, Deore and MT-series 4-piston brakes. Good braking modulation provides predictable control on challenging terrain.
