Cube Stereo Hybrid ONE55 C:62 SLX
Speed. Integration. Lower weight. These are the defining qualities of the Stereo Hybrid ONE55 C:68X, which makes use of up to six different fibre types to meet the specific demands of each part of the frame. The result is a chassis that's up to 20% lighter compared to our Stereo Hybrid 140 frame, but stiffer too – and strong enough to take on the toughest trails. An adjustable head angle and longer reach contribute to handling that more confident riders will love, serving up a cut-and-paste feel that enables tricky line choices even at speed thanks to 150mm of progressive rear wheel travel. Full internal cable routing reduces clutter and maintenance, and the Bosch System controller is neatly housed inside the top tube and can be controlled via Bluetooth from the Mini Remote. It's the complete package.
Technologies
Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame – but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? We came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.
With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
Agile Trail Geometry is a development of our popular and well received Agile Ride Geometry, with a focus on riders who enjoy pushing their limits on the trails. By lowering standover height and allowing more room for the rider to move around over the bike, we've created a setup that rewards adventurous line choices. Because, after all, it's all about having fun.
Combining all our expertise from carbon frame building into the ultimate material, C:68X® carbon uses the optimum blend of fibre and nano particle-infused resin. Precision Advanced Twin Mold manufacturing means we can avoid bonded sleeves or inserts, too. It's the new benchmark for light, stiff and strong.
Our Efficient Trail Control series works in the background so that everyone can have more fun on the trail. A low leverage ratio and linear compression rate are the technical way of saying that these bikes are very sensitive to trail obstacles, whilst remaining insensitive to pedal-induced bob and giving a full range of travel.
The Fully Integrated Battery system tucks the power of Bosch's battery out of sight, safely inside the confines of your bike's downtube. Hidden beneath a splash and dust-proof cover and secured with a lock to prevent theft, it allows us to design beautiful e-bike frames that are as brilliantly functional as they are good to look at.
In many ways the battery is the heart of an e-bike. That's why, with our Modular Battery System, we've made a setup that's easy to use. You can charge the battery on or off the bike, and we've made room for even high capacity batteries. You'll wonder how you ever managed without it.
