Cube Stereo Hybrid 120 Pro 625

The Stereo Hybrid 120 Pro 625 combines comfortable, ground-hugging suspension with intuitive handling and reliable, fuss-free performance. Bosch's fourth-generation CX drive unit and a 625Wh battery are matched with Shimano's legendarily easy-to-use Deore 1x12 gears for simple trail-taming power. We added four-piston hydraulic disc brakes with oversize rotors front and rear, for safe stopping in any conditions. Schwalbe's grippy 2.6in tyres add extra comfort and control, and RockShox suspension front and rear keeps the rubber side down and rolling. It's all you need for off-the-beaten-path adventures.

ADVANCED INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING

Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame – but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? We came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.

ALUMINIUM SUPERLITE

CUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminium, which has the qualities – high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength – that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.

BOOST148

A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That's the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.

FENDER/RACK AND KICKSTAND OPTION

It's the little details that make the difference. With the option to easily fit full length mudguards, a luggage rack and kickstand you can make your bike that little bit more versatile and easier to live with. Wet roads, stuff to carry or nowhere to lean your bike up when you arrive? No problem – we've got it covered.

FSP4Link

Suspension kinematics is vital to your bike's performance. At CUBE we use the FSP 4-Link for all our full suspension bikes, with a chainstay pivot and four bar suspension design. It's a proven method for creating active rear wheel travel independent of pedalling or braking forces. We carefully refine pivot placement for each bike depending on its intended use, so you can be sure of outstanding suspension performance on the trail.

GRAVITY CASTING

Gravity Casting moulds liquid aluminium into highly complex frame sections, resulting in extremely strong structures that can better withstand stress. For example, with our Hybrid models we're able to produce a motor mount that's optimised to cope with the loads placed on it in this specialised application, without adding unnecessary weight or sacrificing strength.
