Cube Reaction 200 TM

The Reaction 200 TM is made from the same kind of heat-treated 6061 aluminium tubes that you'll find on our performance adult bikes. We also use the same mechanical tube-forming process to adjust tube shapes for the best combination of strength and weight. Making the most of all this frame wizardry is a suspension fork, designed specifically to work with a small frame and a light rider. Disc brake mounts and cable routing allow for the greater safety and stopping power of discs. And a replaceable derailleur hanger insures against expensive repairs in the event of minor mishaps.

Only special bikes get the CUBE Trail Motion treatment. The Reaction 200 TM takes the light, tough frame of our junior hardtail and adds a Suntour Raidon 34 suspension fork for added control and fun out on the trails. Perfectly proportioned controls and carefully designed geometry ensure your youngster is comfortable and in control the whole time. We fitted Shimano's powerful hydraulic disc brakes, just like we do on our adult mountain bikes, and a pair of 2.25in Schwalbe tyres. And finished off with slick-shifting 1x8 gears and a shifter that's designed for small hands.

• ALUMINIUM LITE - There's aluminium, and then there's CUBE Aluminium Lite. This heat-treated 6061 aluminium is stiff, fatigue-resistant and, because of its natural corrosion resistance, a great material from which to make lightweight tube sets – and bicycle frames. And it does all this without adding unnecessary weight, so you can get the best enjoyment out of your CUBE.
