Gravel Bike Cube Nuroad C:62 ONE
The Nuroad C:62 frame takes everything we know about carbon frames and repackages it in a format that's perfect for gravel. There's ample frame clearance for tyres up to 50mm (45mm with mudguards). An integrated seat clamp and semi-integrated cable routing complement the frame's elegant, organic appearance. The C:62® carbon fork has two carrier mounting positions, while the frame itself is ready to accept mudguards and a rear carrier, should you wish to fit them. And the overall weight for all this? Just 1,150g for a mid-sized frame. So it's tough, but also extremely light. The ideal basis for a new approach to gravel exploration.
Simplicity is good for a backwoods bicycle, but simplicity needn't mean compromise. The Nuroad C:62 ONE's full carbon frame and fork – light, elegant, functional and equipped with mounting points for mudguards and carriers – are just the start. We fitted a Newmen Performance Gravel 25 gravel wheelset shod with Schwalbe 45mm G-One R Pro tyres for the best combination of weight, grip and durability. Then we added Shimano GRX hydraulic disc brakes, for excellent control in any weather. And finished with the functional excellence of Shimano's GRX 1x12 gears, for a huge range of ratios literally at your fingertips. It's ready to explore.
- C:62 CARBON FIBER TECHNOLOGY - Not all carbon is created equal. With our C:62® carbon we increased the high modulus fibre content, then we reinforced the resulting material with nanoparticles incorporated into the bonding resin. Which is all just a fancy way of saying it's extremely strong, light and durable.
- ADVANCED INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING - Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame – but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? We came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.
- INTEGRATED SEATPOST CLAMP - Our Integrated Seatpost Clamp is all part of our quest to sweat the details, so that you can reap the rewards. Its minimalist design suits the frame's pared-back aesthetic. And, of course, that's important – because why wouldn't you want your bike to look great? But it also saves a few grammes too. And that matters just as much…
- OPTIONAL LOW RIDER - Adventure sometimes demands different kit. That's where our low rider rack mounts come in. Designed to accept an optional fork rack, they're a great way to carry up to 10kg of additional weight for extended tours. Not only that but carrying some of your luggage over the front wheel helps improve weight distribution and handling. Win, win.
- GRAVEL ENDURANCE GEOMETRY - For gravel epics – or races – into the back country and beyond, our Gravel Endurance Geometry is designed with you in mind. With a ride position optimised for long days in the saddle and frame angles and dimensions geared towards the perfect balance of agility and stability, it's all you need for off-road adventure.
- FENDER AND RACK OPTION - A gravel bike is a supremely versatile beast, which is why all our gravel models have a fender and rack option. With generous frame clearances to fit comfortable, safe and grippy tyres even with full length mudguards, we also neatly integrated the rear rack into the mudguard design – and included a rear light, too.
- ADVANCED TWIN MOLD - With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
- 3RD BOTTLE CAGE MOUNT - Because the Nuroad C:62 is built for adventure, we added a third bottle cage mount under the down tube. Use it for carrying tools and a spare inner tube, or carry another water bottle – the choice is yours. Either way, you're all set for extended exploring.

CUBE is one of Europe's most successful bicycle brands, founded in 1993 by Marcus Pürner in the small Bavarian town of Waldershof in the Fichtel Mountains of Germany. The origin story is modest and very German in its practicality: still a student, Marcus started in a 50-square-metre corner of his father's furniture factory, sourcing frames from Asia and assembling them locally with high-quality components — initially just to fund his university studies. Over three decades that small workshop has grown into one of Europe's largest bicycle producers, with products sold in more than 60 countries and around 1,000 people working under the brand today. Unlike many top-level competitors, CUBE remains an owner-managed family business — Marcus Pürner still leads the brand to this day, which means decisions are made for the long term, not under the pressure of quarterly results for stock-market shareholders. The heart of CUBE is still in Waldershof: the state-of-the-art 35,000-square-metre factory opened in 2016 employs 600 people working two shifts and assembles up to 4,500 bikes per day — making CUBE one of the most productive bicycle assemblers based in Europe. Next door, in the company headquarters, the brand's engineering team handles all frame design, geometry calculation and component selection. Every component goes through a double quality check — once during production and again at CUBE's own test lab, which has dedicated rigs for road and mountain bike testing (for example, frames are loaded with forces equivalent to a sprint). The range is extremely broad — over 400 different models, covering everything from city and kids' bikes to e-bikes, gravel, MTB and full-on professional road racing machines — supported by an in-house clothing and accessories collection. In top-level sport, CUBE is currently the main bike supplier to the Belgian WorldTour team Intermarché–Wanty, and the brand's own action team supports enduro and DH racing as well as triathlon top performers (including multiple Ironman world champion Lucy Charles-Barclay). The CUBE philosophy is simple: solid German engineering at a fair price — "Cube your Life".
