The Hyde draws inspiration from our 29er mountain bike hardtails to create a sleek, tough, frame that's at home in the urban jungle. Double-butted aluminium tubes build a structure that's strong, durable, light and lively. Neatly integrated luggage carrier and mudguard mounting points make it easy to customise, and there's room for two water bottles for longer rides at the weekend. The lightweight full carbon fork is the perfect accompaniment, offering precise steering to match its low weight and understated looks.
- URBAN GEOMETRY - City streets are the natural home of our urban bikes, so we gave them geometry to match. Nimble for weaving safely through traffic, with ideal weight distribution for great grip and safe braking and cornering, Urban Geometry is precisely what you need to help you navigate the mean streets safely... and beat the gridlock.
- MOUNTING POINTS - At CUBE we believe even a functional bike should be attractive. The carrier and mudguard mounting points for our Nature series are designed specifically to provide a strong, secure anchor point for these useful accessories. But they're also unobtrusive and elegant, so your bike still looks great.
- SEMI INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING - Cables for your gears and brakes are essential, but you don't necessarily want to see them all the time. Our semi internal cable routing takes gear and brake cables through the down tube for a cleaner appearance, smoother shifts and reduced maintenance. So your CUBE bike looks good and continues to function as it should, and you just concentrate on enjoying the ride.
- ALUMINIUM SUPERLITE - CUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminium, which has the qualities – high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength – that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.
