The Aruba's stylish good looks are undoubtedly part of its appeal – easy on the eye and with a hint of retro panache. A comfortable ride position and safe handling are important parts of the package, and we selected 8-speed Shimano hub gears for their reliability and ease of use. A luggage carrier plus colour-coded chain guard and suspension fork complete the look, and we added dynamo-powered lights, mudguards and a kickstand too – so you're ready for any journey. • SEMI INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING - Cables for your gears and brakes are essential, but you don't necessarily want to see them all the time. Our semi internal cable routing takes gear and brake cables through the down tube for a cleaner appearance, smoother shifts and reduced maintenance. So your CUBE bike looks good and continues to function as it should, and you just concentrate on enjoying the ride.
• ALUMINIUM SUPERLITE - CUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminium, which has the qualities – high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength – that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.
