The Shimano CUES FC-U4000-1 is a versatile square taper crankset designed for both MTB and trekking bikes. Built for 1x9-, 1x10- and 1x11-speed LINKGLIDE drivetrains, it offers excellent chain retention and efficient power transfer for confident riding on trails and long-distance tours alike. Its harmonious pedalling performance and wide gear range invite riders to explore rougher terrain.
The specially shaped chainring with DYNAMIC CHAIN ENGAGEMENT+ technology enhances chain grip and retention, reducing the risk of chain drops on uneven surfaces. With a 178 mm Q-factor and 50 mm chainline, it integrates well with a variety of MTB and trekking frames. The FC-U4000-1 is compatible exclusively with LINKGLIDE systems and also supports HG 11-speed chains.
