With its Post Mount interface, the caliper can be installed on either the front or rear wheel, offering excellent versatility across a wide range of frame and fork standards. The included B01S Resin brake pads provide quiet operation and smooth braking modulation, making them ideal for commuting, recreational riding and light trail use.
The banjo hose connection allows for a cleaner and more compact installation, particularly on frames requiring precise hose routing angles. The system uses Shimano mineral oil for stable and low-maintenance performance. The BR-MT500 is compatible with the BL-MT500 brake lever and is optimized for use with the SM-BH59-JK-SS brake hose.
