Shimano BR-RS785 is a hydraulic disc brake caliper designed for road bicycles, delivering consistent and reliable braking performance in all weather conditions. With precise braking modulation and dependable construction, it is well suited for everyday training sessions and longer road rides.

Featuring a Post-Mount mounting interface, the caliper can be installed on either the front or rear brake. It comes equipped with Shimano J02A resin brake pads with cooling fins, helping improve heat dissipation during demanding braking situations. The straight brake hose connection ensures straightforward integration into a compatible hydraulic braking system.

Shimano One-Way Bleeding technology makes brake bleeding faster and easier, helping remove trapped air from the hydraulic system and maintain a consistent lever feel. The painted aluminium caliper combines durability with low weight, weighing approximately 115 grams.

Shimano BR-RS785 operates with mineral oil and is recommended for use with Shimano ST-R785, ST-RS685 and ST-RS505 brake levers. Recommended brake rotors include the Shimano SM-RT99 in 140 mm and 160 mm diameters.
